Why Pause?
We have been experiencing a ‘more is more’ movement in the floral industry over the past few years. Although we can appreciate the massive scale and complexity of most of the designs, we have been feeling an intense yearning for scaling back, exploring simplicity in floral design and appreciating the pause and intention behind each and every flower we place.
New Workshop Dates 24 – 26 September 2024

Want to know more? Get in touch and we will send you the information document. We want this adventure to be personal and intentional, to achieve this seats are limited.
WHAT DO OUR STUDENTS SAY?
Christien Schrecker
It was so much fun, jam-packed with info, inspiration, amazing flowers and decor to play with. Even though it was put together with so much curated details and extremely professional, it was relaxed with loads of coffee breaks, enough tume for Q+A’s and opportunity for networking with people in the industry.

The Pause Workshop experience has brought back my creative spark. An experience that I have not been able to stop thinking about and that has changed my life and what I’d like to do with it, in a BIG way. Floral design is something that I would like to pursue professionally now and it is all thanks to you.

The workshop was invaluable to the price we’ve paid. I really felt that Anli + Amanda came to serve us with their knowledge and did everything in their ability to give us the best, need it be food, photo’s, floral advice, guidance and experience.
Christien Schrecker
It was definitely worth the money, lockdown was hard and I often thought of cancelling, but so glad I pulled through. I have already applief so much of what I have learned in our small business and can’t wait to see the growth over the next year from everything I learned.

Kausar Rehman
For someone that has never done more than put store-bought flowers in a vase, I had a lot to learn and my brain was jam packed with info during this course! The workbook we received is so valuable to me, this will be my flower arranging Bible from nou on!
Carmia Vorster
Everything that was presented was insightful and every single day I left Landtscap with new knowledge of techniques, perspectives and a head buzzing with creative stimulation. I left wanting more. I left inspired. I left dreaming.

What inspired me the most was how Anli + Amanda work together, so many stories of freelancing for each other and what a strong and beautiful friendship they have.
Janine Bouverie
I just wanted to thank you both for the most amazing workshop. There is so much to mention in a short message after such an inspiring 3 days. Firstly, you have the most wonderful, sincere, real and trusting friendhip which is the base to your successes. Secondly, the effort and care you put into personal touches to make us feel part of your team was heartwarming. Your organisation skills from individual bucket preparation to lunch decor were what made the event flow so easily.

“When I thought about signing up to a Pause workshop I was hesitant because I had done a long floristry course at London Flower School before and I wondered if I was going to learn the same things. Wow, I was so wrong! I’m so happy I signed up to this course. It wasn’t just a floristry course, it was an experience. I felt so special, like an event had been thrown for me! The attention to detail and all the surprises and gifts where never ending… and so was the food which was incredible
Janine Bouverie
Both of you have such creative skill and technique and it was a privilege to be nurtured into the floral world by you two! The floral art became secondary and compassion for one another primary. From this experience we will all ‘bloom’ into better people whilst ‘dancing’ through the meadows of life. I just love you both. May God continue to Bless and enrich you.
Robin Clark
I met such a great community of people who have like-mined ambitions, dreams and passions. This alone was invaluable! I walked away from this course and instantly put what I had learnt into practice while helping a fellow student for a wedding.
Robin Clark
I was also totally wrong about my reservations about signing up for a course that may duplicate previous ones. The Pause course would be great for someone starting out as well as people who have been in the industry for some time already. I learnt so much! Several of us at the course commented that for so long we have always put our dreams aside for various reasons… but this course was for us. If you do anything for yourself, gift yourself with this amazing experience! I think often people see a course and think it’s too expensive but I would have paid more if I knew it was this good.
A Glimpse into PAUSE
Simplicity is often defined as “the state of being simple, uncomplicated or uncompounded”. To have a clear direction of expression.
To master the act of restraint.
