We really love that moment where all of the skills learned during the 3 days of Pause Floral Workshop comes together during set up of the editorial. Our students’ eyes light up when they take a step back and observe what they have accomplished together. Thinking about each flower and creating something with intention Nikki, our beautiful model, brought life to the exquisite Kobus Dippenaar gown. We could not stop staring at her, standing in the middle of this dreamy floral set up.
For our Pause July 2025 editorial we drew inspiration from the sometimes overlooked lily. We used white lilies in mass to create impact and vibrance in this blank canvas. We focused on steel structures, growing posies and also beautiful green linen to set the stage. We discussed the backdrop structure and showed the students how to approached elevated installations when using flowers that would need a water source.
