Pause August 2020 | Editorial

We really love that moment where all of the skills learned during the 3 days of Pause Floral Workshop comes together during set up of the editorial. Our students’ eyes light up when they take a step back and observe what they have accomplished together. Mari, our beautiful model, brought life to the exquisite Alana van Heerden gown. A informal tablescape formed part of this dreamy editorials with simplistic flowers and romantic candles.

For our Pause August 2020 editorial we focussed on dark moody colours by using dark red lilies and rust coloured cymbidium orchids. The dried grasses we packed everywhere complemented the moody colours so well, we couldnt stop staring at this beautiful set up. The linen draping was the perfect backdrop for all the hanging clouds our students created with dried hydrangea, kapok bush and other foraged textures.
