We really love that moment where all of the skills learned during the 3 days of Pause Floral Workshop comes together during set up of the editorial. Our students’ eyes light up when they take a step back and observe what they have accomplished together. Thinking about each flower and creating something with intention Kay, our beautiful model, brought life to the exquisite Bo & Luca gown. We could not stop staring at her, standing in the middle of this dreamy floral set up.
For our Pause November 2021 editorial we drew inspiration from the beautiful antique backdrop found in the Nooitgedacht Chapel. We used coral and lavender pops to create drama and enhance the teal accents found in this space. We used the backdrop as our structure and showed the students how to approached elevated installations when using flowers that would need a water source. This dreamy set up still makes our heart skip a beat! Please see full credits at the bottom of the page.
